Do you know cupboards? They have these wonderful little drawers. You can organise everything within them. As human beings we tend to organise ourselves into these drawers, desperately trying to tidy and arrange ourselves whilst identifying what we are doing. I am not thinking of myself as a drawer, but the whole cupboard. I contain these drawers, these different pieces of information being systematic but not limited to just one field. I have a range of drawers to choose from. Former jobs, freelance experiences, different productions and the ability to be human and communicate openly and effectively with a sense of humour, have shown me how adaptive I work in this broad range of creative realisation.
Due to my years of experience in stills production, studio management and representing photographers I’m aware of the specific needs and requirements of the advertising industry. Every project is different, every person I work with is unique and has their own personal expectations and needs. During former projects the one essential learning was that teamwork is the key to a successful and powerful production. This is how &PAULA was born. It is not only my company name but it is exactly what I do: I’m an add-on to every project with a new drawer to be opened.
I professionalized what I’m best in by working as a personal support behind artists and teams to fulfil their creative visions — may it be as a producer, a freelance artist manager, a casting agent, a creative number cruncher, a problem solver or just an everything-in-mind-keeper. I can provide photographers and other creatives with a "built-to-fit“ service, ranging from the first briefing study up to the final billing. Proceeding with my personal vision in mind: to bring people together who create extraordinary outcomes, while supporting an extremely skilled team.
